The Connor Brothers π¬π§ Mike Snelle & James Golding, by Everyone Owes on Mar 8, 2018 15:20:58 GMT 1, Are people actually buying this copycat boileroom coverup that is passed off as art?? Seriously? One half of The conor brothers scam = james golding This stuff should be priced the same as any other copycat decorative inkjets sold at Ikea i.e. ~ Β£40. Print a couple of these off, save yourself a trip to the land of Yellow and Blue flatpack......

That's the art world for ya - many artists fall into this category, money, knowledge and contacts. Sadly these days it not always talent that gets the success.....

The Connor Brothers π¬π§ Mike Snelle & James Golding, by Deleted on Mar 10, 2018 18:54:26 GMT 1, I have a small collection of The Connor Brothers works. Honestly love Harland Miller works, but has become unaffordable. TCB offers nice eyecatching works for an affordable price. What is your opinion guys on these works?

The Connor Brothers π¬π§ Mike Snelle & James Golding, by tab1 on Mar 11, 2018 9:57:25 GMT 1, The thread title led me to believe it was a reference to people who are duped by TheΒ ConnorΒ Brothers and actually purchase their work. My assumption was that this would be a condemnation of collectors who fail to educate themselves, leaving them helplessly unarmed and incapable of identifying artistic output which is: (i) derivative; (ii) formulaic; and (iii) soullessly market-driven β i.e. where the starting point to the creation process is questions like, - "Whose schtick is popular right now?"- "What's trendy and easily copied?"- "What will sell to less-informed buyers who won't realise we're just rehashing the ideas of other people?"I clicked on this thread to voice my agreement before realising I had misunderstood the title. Thank you met. Iβve bought one of the mugs so I presume the above includes myself. Whilst weβre examining peopleβs failings have you ever been called pompous? Edit. Iβve read your previous posts where you advise us of your thought process when posting. That you consider what family and friends would think of your words. Perhaps you might want to add, βwould I say that to someoneβs face?β Whilst on this forum youβve managed to criticise my framing, criticise my liking of a print and now call me a mug, for buying a mug. Well done you. You obviously congratulate yourself on your forthright style as you cruise round here mocking membersβ grammar, taste and preferences. To me you are pretentious and boring.
Awesome. I could just stare at those too. In fact, in my head I'm already staring. Plus, I've also noticed from a distance that I really am staring β which is quite rude and arguably a sign of aggression. And so, just this second, I told myself, "What the fuck are you looking at? You want some?!"Don't forget to add Angel with Paint Pot x10. Those are, like, super awesome. How much for a paint pot ?
Final word of the forum, should be a forum guardian started off a few years back with constructive analytic feedback on topics , must be the others trolls on the forum may have rubbed off . Gets catty on here from time to time , funny reading except when directed at yourself π

I must of missed the email - posting on IG after the event does`nt really help people to be ready for the drop. Never mind, sure they will pop up for sale soon enough - Anyone want to flip it, please drop me a message!

The Connor Brothers π¬π§ Mike Snelle & James Golding, by Arty Farty 15 on May 9, 2018 13:20:15 GMT 1, I think these will particularly hard to get hold of. They sold out in seconds and the fact itβs for a male suicide charity should make flippers question how desperate they must be for a bit of extra cash.

No way I'll pay to have any of that bs on my wall.
