Hmmm, I got one framed as well. I don't remember seeing the option for frame color and that's not specified in the receipt. Just assumed it would be white i guess.

if you choose framed from 1xRUN it comes with a 1in black frame.

I thought it would look better with white so I ordered just the print and found a white frame on ebay...I'll just take it somewhere to add spacers, backing, etc.

So the edition size is just however many people buy the print in the release window and that's how many they then print, whilst you wait for 8-10 weeks. Can't decide if that's smart and I like it or if something doesn't feel right...?

EDIT - Just seen this is for charity, now it makes sense. Nice idea

I love Eaton's work but I'm a little disappointed by this.

He already did an extremely similar print called "Predator" in 2014 [that one had a fin].  I wish he would do more portrait-focused pieces like "Show Me" as I feel like they better represent his street style.

"Aloha Dreamland" was killer, had a run of only 150, and it was cheaper.  I jumped at the opportunity to have that one framed up on my wall but this one will be an easy pass.

Aloha was just a giclee though and this new one is a giclee with 10 color screen print. Plus this is a bigger print. As far as subject matter is concerned, Pangea Seed is an organization meant to raises awareness about oceanic environmental issues, so the shark makes perfect sense and, while I do love Tristan's portrait work, not sure it would work here.

all valid points, I wasn't familiar with Pangea Seed and their mission.  Learned something new today

waste of paper and ink... would have been better as a cheap litho. That $300 price tag is f**king ridiculous no one is going to care about this after the weekend.
