Great times tonight, Shep is a solid DJ.
For those wondering...the Retna, Invader, and DFace prints are long sold out. The Faile is probably next with the Shepard behind that (ed of 200, there are also 2 color variations of show posters, ed 450/each that there's plenty left of). I think everything else will go up online after the show closes.
I'll try to post pix next week.

cheers for clearing that up yoyosh, thought I read in the latest interview about the sketches of cigarette packs being for this show, but I guess he was on about the design for his print and not actually showing the original sketches

I found it odd that the $50,000 FAILE had an open box in it . I thought maybe it had been pried out and stolen and asked the people at the desk about it .. They assured me that is how it was delivered ... Seems odd.. Artistic license I guess to intentionally leave a big hole ..

You pull the box out, reverse it, and re-insert it; then the entire piece becomes a map to Faile's studio.

Both pieces were pretty amazing ...
If you have the $$ .. These would have been goods picks as best of show in that price range .. The swoons were 15-20k as I recall .. Retna .. 70k .. Big fairey canvas in the 50k range .. Etc

The faile print really started growing on me throughout the evening .. It was strange to see the wood box pieces of classic images and then go back and look at the print. The print is better than I first gave it credit .. I believe by the end of the evening it had sold out along with the other big names... Oh ... And I am super jazzed that I scored the framed retna AP from the wall. . It never hurts to ask !! They said .. Well they weren't for sale but now that the show is coming down let me check... She came back and said it's yours ... Woohoo Price was higher of course with framing and shipping included .. But super happy to have my first retna for the collection . And that is why I really didn't by the faile. . But the faile is better than I first thought

I think the swoon was well priced .. I have seen smallish swoons at 8-10k USD. That swoon was like 8-10 feet long and amazing .. If anyone is in the market for an impressive swoon I would highly recommend you track that down..

Noirrion, the one on left on paper was $4500, the one to the right on canvas was $7500. Wish I had the dough, they did look phenomenal in person.

From what I saw Retna, Invader, Dface, FAILE, Fairey were sold out at the show. the prints by most of the other artists were in availalble in quite large quantities. Which led me to comment to my wife that they really should not have done flat pricing.. the five mentioned above should have had higher price and the rest should have been lower... the flat price point probably sounded good.. but led to this huge discrepancy in what sold and what did not.

I framed mine up for the wife's office. Came out pretty well
