That's what I thought at first, and am still hoping, but everyone I've e-mailed and every related site so far has stated 5 prints per artist. I asked why, and didn't get a response.

im sure some form of sanity will reign.  it is in no-ones best interest to let folks cherry pick the most in demand prints and leave them with a large number of unsold prints that would have been impulse buys.  once folks know that their top choice is sold out they may just stay away

Yea, I hope that's not the case. If so, you can expect a lot of local galleries will be snatching up multiples of the big dogs on thurs and reselling them on friday at 4X the price.

At this point there's been no PDF. less than 48 hours til the event opens so I doubt there will be one. Sounds like everything avail for purchase Thursday at the event at once, and then anything left over one week from today will go up online somewhere.

FYI I tried a more traditional approach offering to buy a set in advance without success
I am after (what a surprise) the Invader and the Faile around cost price but will give away a nice print (have lots of choice) in exchange for the service and will of course do instant payment

Looking forward to getting off this line and seeing the actual show (there are definitely people who bought prints and left immediately). The show from what I saw briefly from the outside, is rather incredible.

limit up until that point was 5 per artist, meaning ~50 total. i'm sure pretty much every person on that line (at that point) was planning on buying more than five.

the announcement was poorly worded to be sure, but nothing but delusional greed could have people honestly believing that a guy with a long track record of 1 per person, ebay takedowns, and a posted diatribe about same day reselling of prints would let a person buy 5 from the same artist.
