Rushing around, taking pictures, sharing information, theories, etc. Even other artists are getting caught up in it, and sharing a joke or too. Banksy - Better Out Than In - New York - BOTI, by Wearology on Oct 3, 2013 0:24:41 GMT 1, On behalf of the NY .info members it is our pleasure to try and give you some insight on what's really going on with the placement and background of each piece.
The second spotted Banksy piece this morning is on the same street as many street galleries one inparticular that would be a perfect venue for a future Banksy Show and they are currently hosting a show for some legends of the street art movement called "Calligraffiti" The steel panel security gate that he painted it on is attached to a wall not a place of business so it won't be raised and lowered. The 3rd piece spotted of the dog pissing is in the heart of some great other large mural street pieces. It's so funny when I visit these pieces and meet fellow forum members like Wizbong AKA Wizzy and they have British accents that we just assume they are in the know because of the way they talk. When I go to take pictures I look around at everyone like a secret service agent scans a crowd looking for anyone that looks like that James Cauty stamp and anyone else that may talk like Benny Hill. This is a shot of the dog that I took during my lunch break at 2:30 PM EST.

Thats the area where Blek le rat and Zevs have shows going on also. I wonder if he went to the art gallery with a "Bomb Hugger" in front. Its on that same block also.

I woulda bet money this was not Banksy. Really weak. Strong and weak is subjective...I suggest to focus on the entire project (show) not each part of it. I feel his unique quality this round is the manor in which he is presenting them and for that I am impressed. |
