Also, I know the phone audio is supposed to be cheap, but I think they have gone over the top with it- can barely hear a word all the way thru....

accent piece is legit but no phone message tag.
dog found before officially unveiled then had phone message tag added after - but no pics on website/instagram yet. Phone message apparently references it so must be legit, but this isn't on the website yet either.
Is that right? Wonder what today will bring!

I expect this "show" will be the same.
So far we've had a cleverly done, but kind of "throw-away" piece (Day 1), and 2 very simple joke pieces.
Best part for me so far was the audio description for Day 1... really made it more interesting.
At the Bristol Museum show there were pieces that were just silly jokes and other pieces with a more deeper, clever meaning.
I expect this "show" will be the same.

Banksy art in New York painted over after one day

A new work by British street artist Banksy has appeared in New York, a day after he revealed he was beginning a month-long residency in the city.
The first piece of graffiti art, which depicts two boys holding a spray can and is entitled The Street Is In Play, was spotted on 1 October in Manhattan. By Wednesday, however, it had already been painted over.
The second, sprayed on a garage door in a classic graffiti scrawl, reads "This is my New York accent". The words "I normally write like this" are below in neatly printed text.
The BBC spoke with fans of the artist about the prospect of tracking down - and confirming the authenticity - of a new Banksy work every day for the rest of October.

On another note, I'm surprised with the mistakes in the unveiling- it's not like there hasn't been any planning going in to this. For example:
1. Dog was released without a number
2. Dog then got a number but didn't appear on the official site or Instagram account
3. The script graff was released on the right channels but didn't have a number
4. The telephone line is probably worse than imagined and actually hard to hear anything
I wonder if the dog issue is cos it was found before it was meant to be posted, hence why the number was then suddenly added.
Anyway, am I being too critical?
