I dont think Banksy cares about aesthetically creating beautiful works, in this stage in his career this whole project seems more conceptual in nature. Much like the movie as he pushed into new ways of messing with the status quo. These pieces seems to be pawns in a larger concept and critique that we will have to watch play out. I hope that is the case atleast as there is so much potential and dialogue that could be created by this new body of work.

The dog has been there. I've seen it before.
I looked for another number but couldn't find one. I was looking for the number of the piece but just assumed its #2 and hasn't been connected yet. He's using that same number the whole way through.
I also think it will be no problem hitting 31 walls in NYC without getting caught. I hear he's got a couple of spotters and walls picked out. Should be fun folks.

As another member pointed out in the link bellow... similar pieces have been done before. It is the entire production I am watching, not just critiquing each scene.

Rushing around, taking pictures, sharing information, theories, etc. Even other artists are getting caught up in it, and sharing a joke or too.
