Still clearing out some works to help afford life with a child....
2007 Invader classic Unsigned edition of 100 Archivally framed in simple blonde wood I bought it direct from POW. A copy of the original receipt will be included. My name is on record as purchaser. I don't want to unframe it, so we will either need to do a local exchange (preferred) or the shipping is gonna be a bit expensive. Cash and carry will win every time! Located in Brooklyn. I can bring it to you, if you are local.

Yeah when I see a frame like that without info about the framer I instantly go "pretty big chance it's glued to the backboard'.

Invader Homeworks, by snapwolfe on Jul 12, 2018 0:49:39 GMT 1, Hey! Lots of assumptions. The piece was framed by WMC custom in NYC, back in 2009 when I didnt have much money for fancy frames, but still made sure to treat my art well. They frame for a few galleries I work with. Japanese hinged mounting. All archival. Varnished, handbuilt birch frame. I am just not a fan handling work unnecessarily and don't consider myself an expert in removing mounts safely.
As for the price, I was have a couple offers under $2000 and will accept less from someone nice and nearby.

Invader Homeworks, by frax on Mar 28, 2021 2:07:20 GMT 1, There is currently a Homeworks available on Catawiki:
www.catawiki.de/l/45969865-invader-1969-homeworks
However, beware. For me, this print looks suspicious. I am looking for a Homeworks print for quite some time now but have never seen a signed print that is numbered twice (bottom left and next to the signature)...!?
All unsigned prints that I know have the number on the bottom left in the POW blind stamp. For the signed prints, the blind stamp is empty and the number is only next to the signature.
So here, the signature might have been added to an originally unsigned print.
So I won‘t go for it and keep searching... Too bad.

POW were quite serendipitous and never held itself it the high esteem that others now seem to bestow upon it. They were (very) often susceptible to human error. Do not assume that every edition from POW was uniform. Do not also assume that all signed editions from POW were signed by the artists themselves. Follow your instincts. I have an opinion on the print but I’m not buying so I will hold my counsel.

I'm not seeing it numbered twice...? It's only numbered next to the signature, which I believe is how this one was done. Yes, POW usually numbered them inside their stamp, but in this case, that would be on the image, which is probably why it was numbered this was by the signature.
