ok you have your opinion and no I didn't buy it. However, i think this forum has evolved over the years, i don;t think it is now just a graffiti art forum, i think it is a bit more varied. I think this peint is as good as many released here lately.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound overly aggressive. The boards always been varied and debated a wide range of artists, these debates have always gone on, but for example, they'd be about whether Micallef was related to the culture, was Adam Neate really a Street Artist, did Logan Hicks cut by hand.. etc etc.. all of these debates went hand in hand with whether you bought or collected something. The difference was, the obvious quality. A little critical thought behind people's advice on art collecting. And at times, a good critical hammering. It enabled people to avoid dropping cash on Eelus's Chewbacca and instead look at Bäst. So, a little critical thought around the art and subject, instead of just weekly aesthetic sugar kicks and hype, will eventually, help everyone. Especially the people who just dropped £200 on this print.

I've really wanted a Roamcouch on the wall since I saw the process video for Emotional Rain. Loved the process vid for the Rainbow print as well but the image just didn't resonate with me. Upon seeing the canvas of Wish, I thought it was really nice and the process vid was once again amazing. I like the image and the wife thinks it's beautiful. At the end of the day, I am happy with the green print and that's all I care about. I hope to have a diverse collection over the course of my lifetime and there are artists out there that are popular that I don't get either. That's the great thing about art. Some people love it and some think it's shit. Keep up the discussions regardless, that's why we are here, right?

i must say i tend to agree - criticism is due in all areas - that's the way of the real world.
without constant checking and non diversion - people are redirected and occasionally forced to think for themselves.
subversion to some - pub abuse , call it what you want.
everyone is entitled to a tad of debate be it ramcouch or eelus or handmedown.

this was a print job for us not a release - printing was paid by roamcouch and price was set by him, but thats mostly the case with all artists on price setting..

its a super printed print with ultra tight registration but if you hate the image fair enough.

it did cost a fortune so i do understand his price.

Lots o people pissing on this. Quite surprising actually. Calling it drab and passing it off as a hack job with no sense of creativity? Considering the amount of art that makes its way through these boards and is drooled over because of the artists name, I'm beyond shocked. The art world is filled with tons of crap. Yes, even the big boys throw up shit on paper as well. on the other hand, theres loads of beauty that we see artists create every day. But to say this is garbage, especially if you've seen his process videos, is a bit juvenile. His process is demanding. Love or hate the piece, you can't deny his talent.

I'm afraid you'll have to learn that on this forum criticism of any artwork is totally allowed......unless its about Banksy in which case its like going to Mecca and criticising the Phophet Mohammed for some here. If you in any way, shape or form dare to criticise a Banksy image or the insane prices they're selling for now then you'll get loads of verbal and told that you don't know what you're talking about!!

Has anyone else had a issue with the Green print that has a crease in the top right corner. I'm away at the moment but my daughter has just text me to tell me the replacement has arrived with the exact same crease in the corner that the first print was returned for.
Am i being too fussy or have i just been unlucky to have had the exact same problem twice

Either suck it up and keep the creased replacement and ask for a partial refund.
Or.
Return the replacement as well and get a third one.
You paid for a print that should be mint, a creased corner is not mint.

I have been in touch with Graffiti prints. He says it was perfect when he put it in the tube. To be fair he has offered to replace it again. He seems like a nice bloke and i hate complaining but I did pay £195 for it so hopefully it can be resolved satisfactorily.
Im on holiday at the moment but My daughter who took the print in says there was no damage to the tube but the crease is in exactly the same place. I will have a look at it when I get home but I was just trying to get a feel if I had just been unlucky twice or whether they was a problem with all the prints.

Very odd the crease appeared in the same spot and no tube damage. Yeah, you paid for a print in mint condition.

i have just checked the few prints i have that i kept and yes they all have a slight crease in the top right corner so maybe there is a few that were like that.

i can only apologise and if yours is like that i will offer the same as pking1601 a full refund upon return or a £25 partial refund......

its very slight and hard to see but there, i did send these to roamcouch cut down which i never do, i always send uncut and cut them down just before i sell them but i could not do this with roamcouch as they were going all over the world after he received them.

if it matters I had the literal pick of the litter on the sepia (they opened the entire stack in front of me and I turned down #1/50) and lets just say tons of them were not perfect due to the shipping from Japan. I would assume the same happened with all other variants having imperfections.
