Really want to like this print, but it's just not quite 'there'. I reckon the biggest star just looks too superimposed and could probably do with a bit of shading? This image is really a similar premise to a TMA as there's a familiar background being mildly subverted. Nevertheless a nice enough image and no doubt the guy has talent but this one is not one that as we say here "would make the wall".

I remember going for the Rainbow Inc drop and it sold out in one nano-second!!!

Same here! He is not such a well known artist yet, this image is not as strong as Rainbow inc, and the prices are not cheap either. I think the Mono will sell out if people can work out how the Japenese site works, then those who missed out may end up settling for second best and picking up one of the other colours!

The fact that this print is really creating emotion and completely opposing views is the reason I'm now tempted to buy this. Call me weird but I think this is a good sign!

Hmm, not convinced by this print. Seems a bit like taken out of the kids room...probably great for a placement there. No doubt great cutting skills but I would even use the word cheesy for the image. Good though to see this available for a while, guess this will scare off all the flippers on the mono, which is the best choice of colour in my opinion.

After reading about how quickly the Rainbow inc went I thought these would fly so I made sure I got the green yesterday but went for the silver today but it worked out £80ish more plus then the expected customs fees but when I went through Paypal it come up sold out.

Looks like it - if you try and cart one its says there all gone ( and probably 95% of them heading to the US of A)! Other colours still up and easy to get however!!

I have a friend in Tokyo who says real excitement and genuine demand from the locals on this one (but lots cant read the international websites which is why they didnt fly too). Makes sense i guess.

Not surprised these sold out, they were hand finished after all and compared to other variants much more desirable in my opinion at least ...

Tried to get this one but sadly missed out .... might have to see whether prices on the bay are not as high ....

How does this sell to people on here ? incredible. Who buys it ? US buyers, Japaneses buyers ? the EB crowd ? it's really embarrassing stuff no ? 1950's sentimental tosh. A technically good stencil destroyed by the lack of any semblance of an idea. No wonder people like Graffuturism come on here and shake their heads. Tragic that stuff like this dominates the board on releases. I really don't understand how people relate this to the culture. Maybe I'm missing something, happy to be enlightened by those who posted it up. Why ? because it's a stencil ? it's a collectors print ?

I think its a nice print, but not one for me. I don't like it when galleries or whatever, like nuart, give it stick. Credible print, well liked by many, that id half the battle on new releases and certainly a thumbs up for the artist as he has only released a couple of prints so far. What i personally would say is that it is overs priced for a relatively new artist. I think the new galleries on the scene who are dictating the releases at the moment are over pricing, this will be your downfall. For all the newbies, do not fall in to the trap of buying everything on the hype, just my advice.

ok you have your opinion and no I didn't buy it. However, i think this forum has evolved over the years, i don;t think it is now just a graffiti art forum, i think it is a bit more varied. I think this peint is as good as many released here lately.
