Static Print, by closeencounters on Aug 2, 2007 21:24:02 GMT 1, does the idea of getting a gold leaf kind of frame with this print sound wrong ?
does that mean you got 1 of the 5? these went pretty quickly from what i can gather - bought one from the main edition though and looking forward to seeing it up close...
if you do go for the gold frame, be sure to post some pics!

In Rainbows - Radiohead. Wat do you think? What , by closeencounters on Oct 11, 2007 23:08:34 GMT 1, the fact my crappy laptop speakers distort everything means i'm waiting impatiently for the physical release - always more rewarding IMO anyway - and catching fleeting glimpses of tracks here and there... really looking forward to a complete listen though and encouraging signs from what people have posted here!

Banksy Premier League - Fantasy Football, by closeencounters on Aug 16, 2007 12:29:06 GMT 1, poor show from my team couldn't make my mind up about how to best handle my team and didn't want to drop loads of points just to add a few to my total so in the end made two changes, fielded two who weren't even in the running and scraped a measly sum of points! it's gonna take a while to get into this i reckon and a little more forward thinking - anyone know when hargreaves is gonna make his debut - otherwise he's for the drop!!

Beejoir at Found-in-the-Rain, by closeencounters on Jul 26, 2007 17:04:23 GMT 1, Kentkid If you happen to have a colleague in the office who you can convince to head back round with you when you are going and they like art but don't want the SBFO, I will gladly buy it of them. ;D ;D Or if that fails any of you guys in the Pub (Yomster) who strike it lucky twice in one day could invite the lucky target of your affection to an evening of entertainment in TLSG. They could of course then buy a SBFO and flog it to me. I will try anything (except of course fly over from Ireland!!) Have a good night guys.
i'll echo these words, but substitute 'fly over from Ireland', for 'fly down from the North' - would love to get hold of one of these, they look amazing!!

Insect - Who To Believe [pics], by closeencounters on Dec 24, 2007 12:27:16 GMT 1, Same as you G-Man, was surprised when i first saw the silver but really love the image and a colour change can't affect that.
Does anyone know the significance of the box-headed man used to emboss the print? (this is my first Insect print so could be something obvious but i'd like to know more...)

Who to Believe Arrived!, by closeencounters on Dec 20, 2007 17:34:07 GMT 1, Just got home to find my first Insect arrived and even better than the image on the SG site! Brilliant. Haven't had time to check it out properly, just letting it breath and roll out a bit, but there was definitely a flash of silvery metallic ink from the hat and torpedo / nose areas.
Couldn't be happier!! ;D ;D

Subversive Evoloution, by closeencounters on Oct 9, 2007 15:00:01 GMT 1, really liking 'Fluodardum Invisibilis' 2007 - the humming bird-cross piece would make a great collection all framed up, particularly as they're about A4 in size, but a little too expensive for me.
