More proof that Avant Arte is full of sh*t. , by collectionlover on Jun 18, 2021 16:09:03 GMT 1,
Don’t need to say much, but the picture should speak for itself.
Avant Arte claims that they make art accessible for everyone, but based on their most recent releases (especially the Javier one) we know this to be false. To add insult to injury, clearly the rules they set don’t apply to everyone. Notice anything in the picture? I see with my little eye three COAs! During the release and the pre-orders, AA clearly stated that the COAs would be mailed out after 6 months. Funny how they make exceptions for certain people. If things were fair like they claim, everyone would receive their COA at the same designated time. I highly doubt my pre-order will come with a COA as many others received theirs without them.
Just more proof of how AA is shady when it comes to their business practices, and that Christian (once again) is full of shit. Cue the cry baby running onto here to make excuses.
I’ll also point out that clearly the money made from the Javier release is being well spent, since he and Curtis have been dropping serious $ on vacations and champagne. Remember boys, if you don’t want people to know your business, don’t post it online. Lol

I’m friends with a collector who have supported AA from the beginning and they received their print yesterday without a COA. Fair to say they’re good customers too.

I’m friends with a collector who have supported AA from the beginning and they received their print yesterday without a COA. Fair to say they’re good customers too. my best bud is someone i would consider a loyal customer and VIP, probably spent over 20k throughout the pandemic on AA. I asked him if he was offered the JC prints. He said there was no more and he wasn't given one because he asked for one too late.
So he wasn't given an allocation piece or even contacted. He only found out 3 weeks ago when i mentioned the drop in passing.

Wasn’t planning on responding to you but what the hell.
People can spend their money however they like, but in terms of these two clowns they like to act humble and claim that they care more about getting art into the hands of collectors than profits.
Clearly their lifestyle choices say otherwise. The Javier release pulled in close to 3 million USD. Just think about that.

I’m just in the mood to expose bull. Someone has to do it ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Congrats on your pre-order my dude, I received my pre-order for my set.
If you’re so concerned with how and what the owners of AA are doing why are you supporting them to the tune of 20k€ plus in a 2-3 week time?

More proof that Avant Arte is full of sh*t. , by clueless on Jun 18, 2021 16:55:27 GMT 1, Sounds like a great thing has taken place.
Avante sold out (which was their goal) - made a shit load of money. Good for them.
Heller was able to get a piece with COAs to ensure a (hopefully) quick flip and also make a shit load of money while also being able to propel the Javi market even more in the upward direction.
Win / Win / Win for all parties involved?

Same to you, congratulations on your pre-order.
Why do I support them? That’s easy! I honestly enjoy the editions they release! Granted some purchases are viewed more as investments than others, but I think the stuff they produce is top notch.
Now just because I like their product doesn’t mean I have to be happy with their business practices. They created this platform because they wanted art to be accessible to everyone, and in recent times they have clearly gone back on that sentiment. They were suppose to be above the shady tactics but I looks like profits got them best of them.
To everyone wasting their time posting about me and others “complaining” your the same people who get frustrated with how larger gallery’s run their business or have the nerve to call out Kaws for his releases. Don’t be hypocritical.
I choose to call out AA because criticism breeds change. Based on how people react, AA can fix these issues.
Rather than hold himself and his colleagues accountable, Christian likes to explain these away and blame others. If he wants to run his business in its current state, then just own it don’t act innocent. I own two businesses of my own and I stand by every choice we make.

The problem is the fact that they clearly stated that the COA would arrive after 6 months for everyone. Why do some get them with the prints while others have to wait?
Also, this guy (featured in the pictures) works for/owns a resell “gallery”. That’s the kind of customer they prioritize?

More proof that Avant Arte is full of sh*t. , by heller on Jun 18, 2021 17:25:59 GMT 1, Well Hello!
Thanks for the all the advertising for GallArt. Ken will be trilled.
First and foremost, my Javi Set is not for sale. I have never resold any Avant work acquired for my personal collection. No one is flipping anything. I am assuming they sent COA's as they know they are going to be hung in my daughters room and that's where they will stay for years to come.
As far as GallArt is concerned, I don't sell my personal works via GallArt, as I am also a gallery owner myself. I do buy tons of work off the secondary market. That is where all of the Javier's that are being meationed came from, eBay and private clients. None are from me. Am I to feel bad for where I have worked for the last 13 years???
I have an awesome personal collection that speaks for itself. Yes, I am a dealer, Gallerist, Curator but mostly a collector that can be trusted with the resale agreement.
Avant is a frist class organization that I have never had a bad experience with. I don't land every drop, I do try for most but if I don't land, it is what it is... Top Rate Customer service and they are on the forefront of the industry bringing editions from artists that would be unattainable otherwise.
Sorry you didn't land this time. I didn't last year either but ended up buying off the secondary. Almine rech just dropped an unreal open edition and there is always next year!
Finally there is nothing wrong with my Virgil Abolh rug...lol
Well Hello!
Thanks for the all the advertising for GallArt. Ken will be trilled.

Why do these idiots keep saying things like “sorry you didn’t land this time”? It’s a pretty pathetic attempt at being passive aggressive. Made it pretty clear that I was offered a pre-order for a single print, and successful purchased it. Maybe you have trouble reading? Also, not that I have to say anything else about my collection, but I also own the first hand embellished edition which was acquired directly from AA.
But hey, love the excuses you’ve made. Don’t have the time atm to fully reply, but you work for a resell gallery. That’s enough of a joke. Did some serious digging about the “gallery” and a ton of sketchy stuff is associated with it. 😂
Also, why don’t you explain why the gallery is selling a set of “No art here”/ “Heads” for 60k?

More proof that Avant Arte is full of sh*t. , by collectionlover on Jun 18, 2021 17:40:43 GMT 1, Congrats on your pre-order my dude, I received my pre-order for my set. If you’re so concerned with how and what the owners of AA are doing why are you supporting them to the tune of 20k€ plus in a 2-3 week time?
Quoting my reply, because people don’t want to read through the thread. I stand by my statement.
Also, yes I understand that I have an ego. And I’m sorry if I say things a bit too directly, but we can’t keep our heads in the sand and say there isn’t a problem with things.
