Nudging them off the cliff would be great performance art. Can I help? Art has it's place but not on the rocks of our National Parks. Don't F*%# with Mother Nature.

As a gardener cannot help but comment.
This person is at least creative, but obviously in need of guidance, and would do well to perhaps look at the work of environmental artists.
Should take a leaf out of Robert Smithson, Andy Goldsworthy, Richard Long book etc etc…

Caveman paints on wall. Caveman learns to plaster and damp proof wall. Cave man steals spray cans and sprays on other people's wall. Cave woman paints on wall.
Evolution. In a nutshell.

I think there's a pretty big moral distinction to be made between painting on an abandoned building or billboard and defacing some of our most spectacular natural environments. She used permanent paint on porous rock. She's an idiot and an asshole.

People are very harsh on here. She is just misguided that's all, some one needs to have a word as it were.

If shes using acrylic it will peel off in a few years, nature will out.

Not sure I agree. Graff began as a response to people's surroundings. No respect for property, ownership or consequences. 
Perhaps this lass is just trying to paint somewhere that isn't a subway train.

The moral distinction isn't a matter of property rights, but a respect for nature. When someone paints on a man-made building in an urban environment, their actions are easily reversed. When you use acrylic paint on sandstone, that's going to be there for decades unless it's chemically removed, which can permanently alter the environment. You might as well paint over a Michelangelo and call it art. Graffiti has no place in nature.
