Is it just me, or is this person kind of a t**t?, by cmodart on Oct 27, 2014 1:03:52 GMT 1, I think the difference is this: clearly, that is a federally protected national Park area where people go and look at natural wonders which are supposed to be left undisturbed. This is a pretty sad attempt to get attention by someone with not much talent, In my opinion. I am not sure the artist could get positive attention without defacing important places.
I am often conflicted to see graffiti art on privately owned properties. To the contrary, often street art is in cooperation with property owners, or in an area where graffiti is well-established as more acceptable and appreciated. This is not meant to have any Socioeconomic implications, but rather, for example, an area with other graffiti, versus the Grand Canyon.
To unreservedly accept street art as having more importance than the intent of the architect that designed or developed the building being tagged (his or her own work of art) for example, Is hypocritical.
To see untalented kids on skateboards relentlessly crashing their boards into a public sculpture is equally painful. Implicit in the act is "my art form or expression is more important than yours ".
Ultimately the analysis could include the intent of the artist, The respect or lack thereof shown to others, and unfortunately, the level of talent of the artist.

Is it just me, or is this person kind of a t**t?, by Rouen Cathedral on Oct 27, 2014 1:58:16 GMT 1, Is this worse then the loser who throws a plastic bottle on the ground in a national park?
I mean these ugly paintings are gone in like five years probably. That plastic bottle takes hundreds...
