The one that is still there is the Chomsky and that sold for $3600, and the rest of the listings didn't sell at ~$3500. So you were right zippy, ยฃ3k does seem to be a stretch.
But this one does come framed, unlike the ones from ebay.

I didn't even know you could buy a metal piece from Fairey without a frame. In fact, every fine art piece I have ever bought from Shepard has been framed. Maybe it isn't the same in the UK.
