'HEADS UP' - Art exhibition / group show, by Dan Kitchener on May 13, 2012 10:15:26 GMT 1, I am taking part in a really cool group show 'Heads Up' in a huge derelict building in Chelmsford, Essex, this coming Friday! It's the old Barclays Bank, and in quite an amazing space!

I have this huge graffiti piece to be installed in the space, alongside some of my new canvas work, so come along if you're in the area and take a look, there are lots of other artists exhibiting all sorts from sculpture, photography and paintings!

The shiny shed presents- HEADS UP
An exhibition that brings together diverse artists from across the county, all hand picked for being outstanding in their own fields.
Featuring work from
THE SHINY SHED - TENBOMB - WORKBENCH - PHOTOMAGICK - THIS IS IT - ESSEX TERROR -... BRAVE1 - LUCY SPARROW - GARETH HOPKINS - LLOYD HARVEY - JO BULL - and more soon to be confirmed . .
Artists on show have varying practices, through sculpture, knitting, felting, graffiti, film, cut metal, painting, urbex photography, and illustration, but all share a common thread of high quality, passion and dedication to their practice.
This is not your average local art show.
Exhibition runs Saturday 19th- Sunday 27th May, open 10.30-6pm
Closed Mondays
Private view party on friday 18th May from 7pm. Live music from GIRL IN A BEAR SUIT and BRIMSTONE BEACH CLUB!
