Canvas - no colours are the same. They mix from household paints as they go - so technically, if mixed by hand/human - no colours can be identical.
Prints are different - in some additions, some colours repeat, this is more prevalent when the prints are screened. Its all down to costs - the more colours, the harder to get alignment, etc.
Although not confirmed, my eyesight it rubbish - the Hirst Spot travel print does repeat colours - Im just not sure/clever enough/see well enough to work out how many colours are on the print in total - although I think its 18+ (from a quick calculation).
Anyone got time to study the pictures??
He has a painting in making with a million dots I think it is. I don't believe there is going to be one million different colors. A plasma tv can do 16million! Wasn't prepared to get something this massive as I attempt to frame it this Thursday and hopefully figure out how to get this to my New York City apartment I might hang this on the ceiling with 4 hooks on each end.
What do you guys think?
Also not really on planing on selling anytime soon but would love to get an idea on the value of this print from the board member.

ball parks are quite expensive.
no, i think the print is special. a good collectors piece. i just think you need to compare to similar sizes and past print sales etc. if serious i think youll be clued up on this.

I dont want to sell, and i may not, but i cannot justify having it someone makes a good offer. I luckily had planeed on going travelling long before i read about the spot challenge. i only needed to add hong kong onto my itinery and travel through geneva to do this.bonus!
