I think the seller would have got circa £40k.
I didn't think £50k for a private, no auction risk, sale was bad.

2)does that mean all CND's are worth over 13k now.
It will be int what the next one goes for it could be a price change or it could be that the Bonhams auction had some people with more money than sense. IMO.
Be interesting if it changes the gallery prices for these.

LTB: GWB Single Canvas, by Rolex on Sept 26, 2011 0:53:23 GMT 1, I have to say I wasn't impressed when I looked at a single GWB canvas last year, my issue is although it's probably a great investment, I don't think it's a great wall piece & for me £50k would be better spent on a Kate & a GWB print, far superior wall pieces, or alternately you could buy a heavy weaponry & GWB print for probably nearer £40k.or alternately you can probably buy a GWB canvas with a bit of homework & patience for £50k & ignore everything I've just said. Good luck what ever you buy.

I was informed that one a couple of weeks back (before the Pink GWB was sold) changed hands for 64k.........whether this has been exaggerated I dont know !! All will be revealed at the Bonhams sale i guess !
