Hello,

I have two Shepard Fairey "Flower Vine" 2009 HPM PP for sale. I have both the red and black version for sale.

Silkscreen with spray paint on heavy collage on archival paper. Signed and dated by Shepard.

I'm looking for [glow=red,2,300]$7,000[/glow] a piece and would prefer to sell as a pair. They are currently up for auction on ebay with a start price of [glow=red,2,300][glow=red,2,300]$4,900[/glow][/glow].

I agree with you peacepig. Shepard's collage work is his best in my opinion. There is so much more life than his prints on wood, metal etc. Not to knock his other work but the depth of collage has an indescribable affect. You can definitely sense the time and work that went into the piece. The push/pull of bringing the piece together is much more evident.

I was unaware they had an original price of "1.5k" volvic. I'm pretty sure that's inaccurate but even if so, I saw one sell about a year ago for $7,500. So this and what I've seen other HPM's recently sell for is what I based my price off of. I have received a lot of interest and have had some pretty descent offers, however, have not made a final sale yet. If interested, send me an offer via PM. Thanks!

Where was this 1.5K price?

Maybe we need to start putting references/links when quoting prices as it seems unfair to the person selling these pieces to throw out lowball numbers into the thread.

I'm currently putting together a major police investigation in order to find the missing persons who have sent me an offer and upon my accepting of the offer, immediately vanish. If anyone has seen or heard from any of these people, please contact your local authorities. They seem to be highly contagious so tread with caution.

Sacked...- I'm trying to figure out the reason behind the vanish. Maybe MBW is literally kidnapping all of the potential collectors as soon as they make an offer? It's a mystery I may never crack.

If you're referring to the Art & Sound Show pricing at StolenSpace the vines were 2000 pounds ($3500) apiece.  That's just for reference since what they originally sold for means very little with a handmade piece like this.  1500 pound pricing was for the mass produced HPM's.
