If anybody wants to know the real reason, it was a spur of the momment purchase and i could use the money for something i really want. The other reason is that i thought it would be an instant sell out and would regret it if i didn't purchase it, especially if the values went up later on, still regret it, if that makes sense !

What you mean is it was a case of "when flipping goes bad", since it didn't sell out instantly, meaning you're stuck with it and won't be able to flog it on for a tidy proft as hoped. Oops!

Hehe, we all started this way... These are the costs of a young flipper.

One advice,... only flip the big artists like Banksy, Invader, Kaws. Start with this 3, everything they produce, will sell out in seconds and will be worth more than you invested
After that you'll need a good story, my favorites are credit card, girlfriend, house movement, full wall or full sleeves... if you're in a hurry just call yourself insane, but at all costs REGRET it, to your favorite print go. Repeat that 2 times, people love to hear that.

If you came that far, wait... the buyers are out there, at least drop it on eBay. Every day sees a new idiot.
Use this help and you can build up a unbelievable bankroll to flip more art.
But never, i'll repeat never buy Newcomers!

I cant even get it through to myself! seem to be going for every release coming and have managed to dig a deep hole for myself. Need to learn to buy what i really want.

Call POW and have them cancel it. If they refuse, you can try with your credit card company.

May not be the best road to go down as they may blackball you from future purchases (doubtful) but you never know.

Thanks for that. What's funny is - i am in the middle of a house move, credit card bill from buying art, even on the wife's card! definantly no wall space, everything either in rolls or flat stored, and... i am INSANE!

I guess it boils down to experience, its steep learning curve and i appriciate and learn more about art alonng the way. Im pretty much happy with most things i've bought, i admire art, i dont just buy to flip, i have never sold anything from my collection so far as i have not been desperate for the money and have managed to not get in debt from buying art. I suppose the time will come where i will want to sell off everything but 3 or 4 pieces i really love and want to get framed and hung, and maybe put the money from the sales towards 1 new piece.

I see why the more experienced members are staying well clear of some releases.

The show looks good - cheers for the pictures. The release schedule is also good, but none of the prints do it for me.

For those questioning Evol's prices, they've always been fairly high. I enquired about a piece a couple of years ago and they were relatively expensive then. Still very good though and good to see him getting exposure over here.

Popped back again today..the piece outside of POW on the street is fun..i'm guessing it's by Banksy?!

since new Evol's show @ POW brought a lot of attention to his work, and a LOT of people seem to enjoy his creations, I thought I'd share the info about Wilde gallery in Germany (www.wildegallery.de/artist_evol.html), still having some of his photo prints, and prints available..

one of them is Blockprint 02, it's a 2 color print on grey cardboard, 70x100cm, edition of 100, available for 350eur
