yeah i guess, tbh craig if it wasn't for the walls and frames book cover release and the invader print coming up, i wouldn't be so desperate. Yeah.. it's not the end of the world, you never know, might even grow on me!!

EVOL π©πͺ Print Release β’ Show News β’ Art For Sale, by Neate Michael on Dec 6, 2011 13:27:56 GMT 1, I'm sorry but IF there is a scene, this chap James, is everything that is wrong about it. He bought a piece of art he does not even like, hoping to make a quick buck when it sold out instantly.
And he would like to buy Invader (fliappable) and Frames book release cover (flippable if by the right artist).
Unbelievable.
The best advice I ever got was from Paul at Elms Lester. He said, don't buy art because you want to make money, but it because you like it and it want it on your walls.
Good advice.
Now, does anybody want to buy my Tilt? Only Β£700 ; )

I thitnk the fact that you are openly stating that you are or were intending to Flip work , which generally is seen as bad practice as it stops someone from getting this print on there wall for cost, Not to say your the only one doing it. It happens everyday, and this "scene" is certainly influenced by hype and greed, which is a shame,
I can honestly say i have never flipped a print, I only buy what i like and eventually i will hopefully frame all the pieces i have up, If i eventually stop buying pieces and put money towards framing,
Where there is money to be made there will be flipping fact, its a way of life, Its how much you let it worry you that is the issue
Arts a Luxury in my eyes so what ever you have Id be happy with and wouldnt worry about keeping up with the Jones's with the latest must have New Flip/Art

Hi James,
I was not aiming my post at you on anyone in particular, Its just the way i see it, I also like the idea of owning art that you can see a rise in price, its good to know that you could potentially sell on for a bit of a profit if you need to that is.. Rather buy art than put it in the bank thats for sure. Id certainly sell art for a profit if that was its current value, as i think most would,

Honestly James, I admire your honesty, but clearly you are on here to make a quick buck.... And what I find unbelievable is your naked honesty. You already have your eye on your next flip.
I know my view is niaive, it is probably my age, but I just find it wrong that people buy anything such as art or concert tickets, with the intention of selling it on to genuine fans, and making a profit from them.
But it is the way of the world, and nothing I could say would change it...

Asked myself the same question as was sold out when I traveled in Toulouse for DRAN's Show... turns out that it's POW who bought it ! Good way to control the prices I guess ;-)
