In 10 -20 Years Time..., by RBK on Jun 19, 2007 4:43:06 GMT 1, I'm drunk in NYC and about to crash (went to the MoMa today) but couldn't resist logging onto the esteemed forum.
So my questions:
- Where will Banksy's art be in 10-20 years?
- Will it be in museums? If so, will there be an actual solo exhibitions?
- Will his production greatly diminish bc he can't do the work on the street like he use to? (as an aside, the stunts/pr/publicity seem very antagnostic to what many of his messages are - and I think are getting sad)
- What will all the collectors sitting on very valuable Banksy fortunes buy when they do sell parts of their collections (more art and start a movement?, or just get a nice sportscar/house?
- Prices continue to go up (a la Warhol)? Or big crash when 'daszw18' or 'catlets' start unloading?
