Welcome aboard Scott, doubt you will get anything like a grinreaper and something else for the applause, grin was a signed print, limited to 300, and a truly iconic image, long sold out. The applause print whist being new is also readily available ( signed or unsigned) with the prices being asked for on ebay being reactionary and not necessarily a true reflection of a prints worth, maybe if you added another print to your applause, then it might get you a Grin reaper. Welcome again, there is alot of good people here who will be able to help with your new found Banksy fixation, all the best F

My signed applause for your Reaper +, by ricosg11 on Nov 25, 2006 19:21:31 GMT 1, thanks for the welcoming and the info. Saw a signed bomb hugger got for almost 8000 usd the other day and thought the applause could be somewhat comparable but I suppose I was mistaken. Not that I was looking for that much in trade value, just got ideas runnin through my head. And me...well I love most anything with skulls and skeletons. Check out this Emek piece just got framed by an artist Emek here in the states. He does mostly concert silkscreens. This is a holographic paper variant #ed, signed and doodled to 40 copies as opposed to the regular run of 250 on regular paper.
here is a link to the images since i cant gt it working. www.Expressobeans/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4375&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=630
scroll to about middle of page.
top mat is black bottom is burgundy suede.

I reckon you'd probably get a straight swap on the grin reaper for the signed applause. Especially now during the hype.. or maybe 3 or 4 years down the road.

My signed applause for your Reaper +, by hankpank on Nov 25, 2006 19:49:51 GMT 1, There's at least two signed Applause sold for ยฃ2.5K. The most paid for a reaper is just over 2K, so you should be OK with that swap.

yeah, reaper will probably only ever go up, and applause is likely to fall off.. so all in all a reasonable trade.

My signed applause for your Reaper +, by Hoops on Nov 25, 2006 20:37:51 GMT 1, I would think a fair swap..... The Grins have been going for ยฃ1700 / ยฃ1800 and now there is one on there looking like its going to go for ยฃ2300 so far . Applause have been going for ยฃ2500 + and there are less of them ie 150

My signed applause for your Reaper +, by knox on Nov 27, 2006 15:01:50 GMT 1, I have both prints and to be honest Applause is much better to look at in real life. But if you really wanted it what I would do is sell your applause as they are going for 2.5K and bid for the Grin Reaper which you should pick up for 1.7k and have a very good christmas on the ยฃ800 profit. Another way of looking at it is that it pays off the cost of buying the applause print so in real terms you get a ยฃ200 windfall and a free Grin Reaper.

My signed applause for your Reaper +, by pastiepie on Nov 28, 2006 0:33:19 GMT 1, While selling and buying might sound good in practice you still have to include the associated costs in your budget such as paypal fees / ebay fees / postage costs. Well you dealing with such large sums of money suddenly 5% becomes an awful lot.
