Polly Morgans taxidermy pieces have been available at Laz Inc for some time, but you wont get much change from £8000 on average.

Personally i think her art is brilliant and have purchased a signed print of one of her pieces - its always much more gratifying buying directly from the artist than an gallery

Very steep @ £260 in a box frame but i really like the image and could never justify / afford one of her original pieces.

Was wondering what people thought about her work.

I really like her work. Your piece is probably my favorite (First saw this at Santas Ghetto 2005) but I think it could have been photographed better, don't like all those reflections of the skylights.

we've always liked pollys work. this piece definitely looks better in real life thou as alot of art does but the photograph works too, but in a different way, a less emotive way perhaps. its probably quite hard to understand this piece if you havent seen it in the flesh, but those colour reflections in the photograph, look beautiful and definitely give the photo a greater sense of depth. nice one.

I just Googled her, she looks tired on most the images so i suspect she either has a hectic lifestyle or parties a fair bit.

LOL - apart from the 'fish finger' comment that sounds like the words that my old man might utter.

That 'art' that is mentioned - isn't that a dead bird in a box? Where's the talent? My kids goldfish died at the weekend, I'm sure I could retrieve it from its watery grave (stuck down the pipe between a turd and a neighbours sanitary towel possibly). In time they could co-exist wondering which one stinks of dead fish.............

Its a dead bird in a box. No more, no less, in my opinion.

I couldn't do that and wouldn't as I think its crap and a waste of everything, although do respect otherpeople's opinion on the subject matter without being patronising in a specific direction which you couldn't resist. My post was clearly tongue in cheek.....
