These 2 layers have taken 6 days to cut! This is going to be long.
Unfortunately each stencil is falling apart after spraying

10 layers Aza ? That's going to be lacking detail mate. What's happened to your usual 30,000 layer standard?

Kinda newer to the community here. Have purchased a few things, but I rarely post and more of a daily lurker. Thought I would show a few of paintings for fun! Oh yeah , they are all oil in canvas although I have transitioned more to oil and mixed on heavy paper (when I have time, graduate school kills that)

I have been working on a few of my own pieces here of late. I thought I would share the finished products. Massive thank you to ABC for answering all my questions and giving such great advice. The first canvas is a trial canvas before I attempt a much larger piece that will hang in my office. The second is my first work with customizing and cutting a stencil and incorporating layering with paint, just a bit of fun I suppose. I know there are a lot of other exciting things happening on the forum currently, but a quick comment or criticism, constructive or otherwise is always welcomed.

I like them both Sic. I especially like the funky angles on the advisory piece. How long did the tagged canvas take you?

The tagged canvas took me three weekends plus any sunny evenings I got during that time. A total of about 6 days painting and the rest were waiting on all the paint to dry. Thanks for the kind words Dr.

I've always wanted to have an attempt at some sort of urban decay abstract piece. It looks great and the layers must be fun to do. I'd never know when to leave it alone though.

You know that really was the most difficult part, deciding when I was finished. Expesially bc there is no rhyme or reason behind the layers. I had ended up putting a bit to much white on my last layer and after "fixing" that issue I decided no more. I didn't want to mess up what I liked by going to far. That's deffinittly a question for ABC, I wonder how he knows he's completed a canvas.
