You can create and save palettes of colors (one for each brand), then once it is done shifting from one color palette to another can be done with just few clicks

Would be nice to create a palette using both brands too, to give a much wider range of available greys. I suppose when I create the palette I can name the colours to make things easier.

PM your email address if anyone wants them

Show us Your own Artwork ๐จ, by Aza on Jan 26, 2015 18:42:20 GMT 1, I've made the swatches in photoshop format using the actual colours. It is the best way to get a truer view of the finished painting.
Anyone know how I can I load up an image in photoshop which is already in 9 shades of grey, and then convert all the shades to the shades in the swatches I made? Hope that makes sense!

How can I quickly change the shades in the image to the shades in the swatches?

I'll look at it later this week and will tell you. Don't you have your image in a photoshop format ? With one layer / colour (i think that could really help to be faster)

Indeed, I checked yesterday, and you need to change colours one by one, it takes time indeed.

It still takes some time to use the paint bucket to manually go through each layer to change the colours. first, sorry, i'm french and my photoshop is in french too. But gonna try to translate. not sure it's exactly what you expect but you can double click on the layer, then select "color overlay". Then by clicking on the color, you can select you color in the palette ( by one click you can see here you can see the changes) it actually dont change your layer color but affect an effect to it.
sorry if it doesn't help

Show us Your own Artwork ๐จ, by Aza on Jan 27, 2015 16:52:38 GMT 1, Thanks, that is a pretty quick solution. Previously I was hoping I could 'update' the current selected image with a new colour palette, which would do the whole image at once.
Your solution is good though, I just have to do it 12 times to check the Molotow range. And then 12 times again to check the MTN94 range. Was just be lazy and hoping for an all in one solution

Show us Your own Artwork ๐จ, by Aza on Jan 28, 2015 21:33:33 GMT 1, I've finished my Ice Cube stencil.
The red one is Molotow paints. The blue one is MTN94 paints.
There is not as big a difference in real life as it appeared using the swatches in Photoshop. The MTN 94 wins for me though as the shades are not so jarring between each other, particularly at the black end.
I'll take a better photo in daylight tomorrow so the differences are more apparent.
