Its crazy when you think that the hose is painted, the water is painted and the drain is also... painted!!

ive totally forgotten his name but he is rad! seriously good work! my fav piece is of a small pond with a sailing boat which he is poking causing ripples in the water. i think what makes it even more impressive that it is all done with chalk, once it rains it all goes though! but i suppose public art which doesnt need buffing is even loved by the authorities!

When I was in Florence, Italy this past spring there were some people that would draw the works of the masters on the streets every day. It would take them between 7-10 hours to complete one piece and it would be an exact replica. minutes after they finished they would fill up buckets of water and wash down the chalk.
