can you only buy artwork on line??, by Daniel Silk on Feb 4, 2006 13:20:58 GMT 1, Welcome to the Forum
As you probably know Banksy comes from Bristol, so I would think a small gallery or book shop in the town must sell some of his work?
I'm not from that area, anyone else know?

can you only buy artwork on line??, by Honest Jon on Feb 4, 2006 14:47:08 GMT 1, There is art republic in brighton, but they usually charge more than the website, a signed print on POW costs £150 and at art republic they are £190, the Hick unsigned from POW is £45 and artrepublic £95. It is nice to see the prints all on display before you buy them but unless you really dont like seeing the postman, id buy from POW.

agreed. it's all gone a bit mad. people buy things from ebay and art dealers at prices that are higher than from POW! I think people are rushing in and not doing their research before buying. The Hick is the worst case example - great print though and a total bargain at £45 unsigned

can you only buy artwork on line??, by steph on Mar 28, 2006 0:58:29 GMT 1, We will be selling some prints to 5050 store in Bristol... I should get their order out by the end of the week so they should have them on display by the weekend....
elsewhere in the UK I sell to Art Republic in Brighton, Gallerina in Darlington, Electrik Sheep in Newcastle and Beat 13 in Birmingham.
These shops have supported us for a while so I will continue to sell them Banksy prints. I will not be selling Banksy prints to any other shops so that we can keep an eye on the prices and make sure they remain affordable.

can you only buy artwork on line??, by mido on Apr 13, 2006 23:40:06 GMT 1, electrik sheep are finally back in contcat with the world and FINALLY got back to me and merely said 'what we have is up on the site'. I had asked about some prints 3 weeks ago.
and, lo and behold, the Flying Copper has gone up from £250 to £500. J&J is £250 even though when they got them they weren't even a sold out print. w@nkers.
