I picked up one of these and it really is great. Everyone that sees it loves it and it's cheaper than a Habitat 'print'.
The guy is English and has shows coming up in Germany and the US.
Win/Win!!

Signed, numbered and £25, by stylus on Feb 12, 2007 18:03:19 GMT 1, Yeah, I'd like to know if it's offset litho, or the other type (which I can't remember the name of!)...
The edition size is only 250, so it might be a bit small for offset, right?

Offset runs normally start at about 500 for economy reasons (would cost almost the same for 500 than 250) but on art prints you'd make a hefty profit selling 250 at £25 each.
The other type you can't remember would probably be giclee (ink jet).

Signed, numbered and £25, by atomcore on Feb 12, 2007 22:35:58 GMT 1, Surely the subject matter is more important than the printing method. Most people on this forum seem to think that unless something is screenprinted it's not as worthy. The actual printing is perfect for the subject matter and however close you look it still looks perfect. It's not going to fade or fall off the paper so what's the issue?
Now for a great example of poor printing just take a close look at Eelus prints. Pretty big potatoes those!
I know, they're supposed to look like that.

Signed, numbered and £25, by dwight on Feb 12, 2007 23:15:49 GMT 1, Actually printing is quite important... Not to say it is more important than subject because you can obviously take a garbage image and print it nice...and the image may even look nice because of quality printing. However, a great image is held back by poor printing. It's similar to framing a great image.. a great print that is poorly framed can be held back a lot by poor presentation.
Printing is very important and in my opinion is just as important as a good image. Not to mention that the type and quality of printing has a lot to do with the lifespan longevity of the print.

Signed, numbered and £25, by corblimeylimey on Feb 13, 2007 11:12:54 GMT 1, I think everything is important, Image, Printing, Paper, Edition Size and Framing.
For me it starts with the image which is usually only seen on the internet (you can't get poorer than that), it's a none runner if I don't like it (pretty obvious really).
