What would you be prepared to sacrifice in order to be there at the release?

Some of you have taken a day off work, some of you are stalling booking that holiday.

Would you cancel your wedding? If you heard a rumour that POW were going to release a Banksy on that day.

If I had plenty of notice the only thing I would do is to try and be off work that day. I wouldn't sacrifice anything.

i took 2 days off work and travelled down from glasgow to make the opening night of FOUND to pick up a JD from frankie

but saying that, 'work' was a summer job in a supermarket, so nothing important ;D

I nearly lost my girlfriend today coz of it, well when i say lost i mean nearly killed.
She came round to use the scanner, i said to her while your here keep pressing f5 im going to the gym for an hour, ok she said, about 30 mins later i get this phone call saying 2 prints are released i clicked the close button instead of the refresh button i cant find pows home page no more. Dropped the weights 90mph whole way home, find her and her best mate laughing as they thought it would be funny. ;D

All sold out now thomas. Well done to those who got one. For those who didn't they are sure to be a few on ebay. Can only be a matter of time before one of Hutch's prints hits the £10K mark on the secondary market.

As for the Hutch LA show haven't quite decided yet. I reckon it will probably be worth it. Do you reckon there will be much left for us as I don't seem to have much luck getting invited to previews.

Tell her they are selling Lv handbags for £50 down at the local trendy shop but she has to be in the queue before 6.00am then see who has the last laugh. When they open the shop at 9.00 and the shop assistant gives her a blank stare

This whole thing is insane. Interest in art is a hobby. Banksy has turned into an obsession. I would not give up anything for the next print. If I get is great. If not, so what. My theory is that the bunfight is more about percieved value of the prints than the art. Stop f5'ing and get out and enjoy life. For me the whole message of Banksy has been diluted by the financial aspect of things. Not that he has sold out, but it just has sort of passed me by.

I spent hours on the hutch site F5'ing away. Well today all of that patience paid dividends. Can't believe I got one of the new prints. I am absolutely stoked.

I think it's just a bit of gentle ribbing, however I'm gonna stick up for Hutch a bit. One reason i was pleased to get a piece by Hutch was that I can remember his stuff being up in Brighton from when I lived there a few years back. A bit like Banksy, it all sinks into your memory and becomes part of you. As too subject matter, well yes no huge political points in a lot of his work but it's still there in some of it. A long time ago Hutch was in a very political punk band, maybe, like someone else, he's fed up with trying too save the world and now just wants too make it look a bit nicer. Also as far as I know (and correct me if I'm wrong) he hand cuts his stuff, which is technically very proficient. He's no new kid on the block he's a family man trying to support his wife and child and makes contributions both to his community and the wider community around him.

This is in no way a dig at anyone as it's all just been a bit of fun but I do think he deserves respect for who and what he is

I went to the last show & the rabbit painted on a hutch blew me away.
I am on the ore-prepreview-preview as i bunged them loads of cash and stan lizardadodoo put me in.

Looking forward to seeing the new stuff, girl in a red hutch and my walk with the hutch will be cool.

It includes his seminal work, 'stone cold and sober'
