Isn't it alarming..., by bobbymeachamjr on Aug 9, 2007 22:21:03 GMT 1, that NOBODY on this board "predicts" so and so will go down in price. Its always up up up up up. LOL. "Its art it can't go down!" LOL. Buy a micallef PRINT for 4K now because next year it'll be 8K. The year after it'll be 15k.
Just a random thought after a few beers and after browsing through the forum...
disclosure: the author of this post has 3 signed micallefs including an a/p

Isn't it alarming..., by goffy on Aug 9, 2007 23:30:47 GMT 1, There are no guarantees, but the most likely to carry on rising in financial worth are Banksy, Micallef and Neate, the rest is pure speculation.

Isn't it alarming..., by corblimeylimey on Aug 9, 2007 23:41:23 GMT 1, I'm very happy with my Blek Le Rat prints, they're worth no more than I paid for them, maybe even less for Tango (which is my favourite of the 2) and I don't think they'll ever be worth more, or at least not for a long time.
Still like them as much as anything else I've got, infact Tango is one of my favourite prints of them all.

Isn't it alarming..., by snakes on Aug 10, 2007 8:16:34 GMT 1, Does not worry me too much if everything were to loose their value over night as they would still be hanging on my walls making the place look scruffy!

Isn't it alarming..., by jonpud on Aug 10, 2007 8:42:30 GMT 1, Cauty is probably the best example although I am convinced his work will stand the test of time so there will no doubt come a day when everyone will want some of his work and prices will go up again. Jamie Reid is no different, his prices are up and down all the time, I don't think there has been a better time to buy Reid than now, always gonna be classic pop art work! (IMO)
