new, by dave313perry on Aug 13, 2007 22:20:48 GMT 1, Im not sure about it mate, somethings not sitting right composition wise i think. I reckon its because all the attention it drawn to the detail at the top and suggests that the lower two thirds is neglected in time and effort!?!? To me just looks more of a complete image if the bottom half is chopped off.
Just abit of constructive criticism dont take it to heart! overall i do like your style and execution.

new, by CR on Aug 13, 2007 23:07:02 GMT 1, Just redone one of my pieces, wondered what you all thought, AND if you could redirect me to the right place to post it as I dont wanna piss anyone off by trying to get asmany people as I can to see em... where?
hey ollie,
I love the addition of the general badge, definatly defines it more.
still think, and this is just an opinion, that you need to lose the bones al thogether and I don't really like the square and circles.
the cropped version without the bones would look pretty cool

I like it, the "squares and circles" work, if maybe a tad too many?

new, by BK83 on Aug 17, 2007 2:25:09 GMT 1, someone said something about making this a stencil -- dont do that. if anything -- get rid of the spraypainting aspect -- its redundant for this piece. you've done a great job utilizing the oil paint -- continue with it. I noticed you've only got the spraypaint in there for dripping effect -- this is silly, just use more medium in your oil paint and get your drips that way -- the whole piece will be more uniform then...
take it or leave it....
