Not sure of their ID's on this board but this is their names on WC. Someone just pointed out a couple of retarded ebay listings using the Nuart name. See below. Most people on here know that Nuart is not a commercial business and does not trade in art or anything else.

We are a not for profit registered company run by idealists and volunteers to give a platform to subversive art and have doing so since 2001. We put on shows, that's it.

Now these two retarded baggers are using our organisations name to trade on ebay.

Thought i'd give the board an heads up in case anyone thought I'd gone over to the darkside or anyone thought their sales were related to Nuart in anyway.

Umm, surely not Neakes as in Neakesmate who seems to have disappeared from WC? He seemed like an ok bloke to me, I was aware of a bit of 'banter' but thought nothing more of it. Interestingly Police Aware has introduced a Fight Club thread so as to let people have a bit of a falling out somewhere were it doesn't clog up other threads.
Anyway that's enough about WC, hope it blows over Nu.

Yeah, nive to have my own thread, it's gonna keep me busy over there. End of the day it's just harmless banter, no different from taking a slagging from your mates as far as I'm concerned. But using the Nuart festivals name to trade with, well, that's taking it too far IMO.

They seem to be weaving a tangled web.. not sure why they got on the Nuart case, hadn't posted to or about them for a while. But a new member on WC ,"Blindhero", laid into them about their bagging, shilling and selling habits.. seems these two thought I was "Blindhero" ( i'm not), and so they then set up the dodgy nuart ID's on ebay. All a bit embarrassing for them really.

I'm not really following this thread all that well, but for what it's worth, I have dealt with 'nuart_carpet_bagging_shop' aka 'greystorm1969' and she aint no Dude . I also have the real name and address.

Probably doesn't make a blind bit of difference,. It's not my intention to harm anyone although the VM that she sent me did have some unexpected creases in it

Mainly, Space Hijackers did some stencil and street stuff in 02. HoH in 04, C6 in 05.. was mixed up with media/tech art before. But we proposed graf (banksy) and street in 05 and the arts council pulled our funding ! Tristan Manco was going to curate it. Fine art funding from the arts council is almost impossible to break into. But they started a new fund "art and new technology", so we went for that as there wasn't that many working in that area. Got the money and invited a load of graf writers over instead twas a success, and now we get funds from the "fine art" section of the arts council. Something I've been lobbying for for graf based art for a few years. But it's not all graf based this year either.

just read through 'fight club' on WC, still none the wiser. the chap neakesmate, now selling under rob_goodley seems to be ok, been speaking to him this week. as for the rest of all the various other sudonyms, well the seem incapable of anything consistant, yet alone qualified, so i wouldn't sweat it. quite why someone would set up an account specifically to badmouth you is beyond me.

right, in response to this i have now been informed that rob_goodley and neakesmate are one and the same person and the other, bettyboo, nuartebaysales or whatever it is, is someone completely different.

i've come to this disagreement a little late so not a lot of it makes sense, just that i was talking with neakesmate the other day and this 20names business didn't add up. i've now been put straight so am happy to clarify that i have dealt with neakes/rob_goodley and that all is, as i thought, kosher.

that's me out, i may yet delete my previous posts or edit them at least so as not to unfairly cast aspersions.
