Which prints storage portfolio?, by stradled on Aug 11, 2007 11:16:58 GMT 1, After looking to buy one of these for a while, but never being able to find one I stumbled across this site:
www.graphicsdirect.co.uk/categories/5/Portfolios.htm
I would like a good quality A1 portfolio, but there seems to be a variety of types with quite different prices.
If anyone could recommend anything, I would appreciate it. TIA

i bought the A1 Jet from these guys and some acid-free sleeves and it suits my needs fine. As important for your valueable prints (until the prices drop -see other thread ) is to add a backing board [bought at a local art store] to the sleeves as well. But the Jet A1 was fine for me. I dont carry my port around, just use it for storage. Good for basic needs. No need to drop a mint imho. Spend that cash on art

Yes apparently the paper in the sleeves is acid free but the sleeves aren't! Very strange.
