haha, im afraid to say ive done that too! Except the frames I find never fit the prints I have, but I end up buying them anyway as I am a tad obsessed.
I love my frames as much as my prints, so I may just put up empty frames if I cant ever find something to fill them.

I have also taken to buying "cool" or "odd" frames at auction without the sizes of my print as I am sure that one will fit ;D and I can get them professionally spray painted for very little cost so can have something special. Not managed to finish one yet though.

good call, although if I were to do that with all my frames I would see about a hundred reflections of my face... not so good! I'll have my very own Mirror World. "I am Mr. Susan" (I hope someone gets that..)
I have a good plan- When I have a small child I will give it pieces of paper cut to the sizes of all my frames and then stick its scribbles in them. wicked, sorted

just put a couple of pieces in to be framed that are costing me an arm & a leg but feck it, i'm counting the days now until i get them back

I do it the other way round, every couple of weeks I pop in the framers and see what's been made but then not used, I write down all the dimensions and then go home and go through the prints to see what might fit. I've been eyeing up a huge aluminium that's only ยฃ20 I just don't know what to put in it.
