True but prices have risen for unsigned since then. I think £750 may be a reasonable price now. CND soldiers currently on 670, gangsta rat (albeit framed well) £701, Jack and Jill over £800.

Banksy prints (unsigned) for sale, by dgb133 on Jun 18, 2007 15:50:57 GMT 1,
That's true, unsigned have been fetching more money recently, but just because something sells for £800 one day does not mean that forever on it will sell for more than £800. Be careful people. I have kept some records of ebay prices and auction records for certain artists that I like. And I have records of prices for some prints (by other artists) that have sold for 1/3 to 1/2 less than their record highs just weeks or months later. I can email them to anyone if they want to see.
It all depends on time of the year, market conditions, who happens to be looking at ebay or going to auction that week, whether or not some overzealous bidder got a bonus from work and doesn't care how much they have to spend (as was the case with the 3.1k GWB recently) recent media and auction crazed hype, whether or not some newer artists are starting to steal the hype, whether or not new editions are being released or are due or whether similar artists have work coming out...
I have an interest in some of Raut's prints but personally I'd much rather Raut put these on ebay (at lower prices) and let the market decide. Which may honestly mean that I have to pay more if the other bidders force it up. But I'd rather pay more knowing that that is what the market demands than pay a lot blindly like this.

the one that sold for less than £500 was damaged and prices have risen, so £700+ is about right for IFTL.

I can understand your sentiment about ebay and especially if you can set up a face to face transaction, plus building a relationship with other collectors doesn't hurt.
And in fairness although at the top end of things I don't think your prices are that extreme. Except Queen Vics which is a bit over the top in my opinon. One recently sold for I think 1300.
But just because one print sold for XXX amount of money last week doesn't mean it will reach that high again. Although it very well might right now, but I'm just saying is all...

Banksy prints (unsigned) for sale, by curiousgeorge on Jun 18, 2007 17:09:36 GMT 1, 90% of ebay prices are because sellers choose to break the 'rules' of an auction and push the prices up. Can you say fraudulent
