Posting a print to the USA - How much?, by paradoxia on Feb 24, 2007 11:14:46 GMT 1, I brought a print for a friend in the USA and now I need to send it on.... anyone have any recommendations from a efficent and reasonable priced courier - found a few charging about £25 a shipment but I thought a poster tube will be a bit cheaper than that.... any ideas anyone?

Royal mail international recorded / signed for delivery with 500 quid insurance comes to about a ten spot, advise to pack one tube inside another bigger tube to maximise protection as those crazy postal chaps / chapettes can get a bit rough when tubes have to travel long distances.

Posting a print to the USA - How much?, by lesroy on Feb 24, 2007 19:05:40 GMT 1, I think I paid £8.50 for international, signed for postage recently. I agree with what Monkey puzzle says though

Posting a print to the USA - How much?, by theministerofsound on Feb 25, 2007 0:27:58 GMT 1, If it is a valuable print, I recommend spending the extra amount for FedEx. They are fast and do a great job with overnight shipping (ie. stuff usually gets treated with respect). They are not cheap, probably 40 pounds for a tube, but worth it.
