PRICES etc, by numusic on Jun 5, 2006 1:41:39 GMT 1, Thought we could all maybe keep track of the prices on ebay by listing them here, date, details, price.
For example: Pulp Fiction, unsigned, Buy it now 625, 05.06.06 GWB, signed 2grand 05.06.06.. ha ha (nah, it wasn't me, honest
what do you think people ? would maybe help us all to make better decissions ?

PRICES etc, by numusic on Jun 5, 2006 18:40:40 GMT 1, Yeah, some people just are not looking about before they buy Seems to me that a whole load of new people that have only just found out about Banksy are all going onto ebay and buying anything and everything for any price It seems that in general the selling prices of the unsigned Banksy prints on ebay go up between £10-50 each time a new one is listed. And most signed pieces are now regularly going for well over the £1000 each, and I would think even the latest Jack & Jill signed ones will be going for similar prices in a year or two
I mean, prices are obviously rising across the board but there's some serious problems on the horizon.. I suspect these new people (me included) check banksy out through the media and stumble across Artificial, Laz, Punk daisy etc.. they hit ebay and think wow ! a bargain.. !!! but, I couldn't fathom why your MQ didn't move.. and Bingo.. Tom Tom have it listed as being in stock for 450 quid !!! what do you think ? Had I not put in the 401 max bid it would have gone for 311.. then again, didn't someone just get aTM this week for 50 quid on buy it now ?

arrgh, sorry.. it was the HMV that was on 301.. I put up 410 max and it went for 411.. never was any good with numbers. But still, 310 for MQ and 411 for HMV.. strange pattterns. But what about TomTom, don't you think this could have an effect, they should update their websites.. why would people bid over 450 for an unsigned when it's stillluisted on tom tom for that price with a 100% guarantee it's legit.

PRICES etc, by monochrome on Oct 21, 2006 9:43:18 GMT 1, seeing that a signed GWB went for £2000 way back then... what's it going to be worth now i wonder? prices are incresing with regularity that's for sure. i reckon in a year's time, every signed print will be worth £5000 minimum. Banksy ain't been to Japan yet..... trust me, those buggers will really drive the market

And along with any real prints they generate, will no doubt spawn lots of very "close to the bone" copies and flood the market even further with cheap tat!! Woo hoo. Not.

PRICES etc, by Run Pig Run on Oct 21, 2006 12:44:36 GMT 1, when I was in Bangkok there was loads of cheap t-shirts with banksy images on them for sell. also most of these asian countries have no copyright laws so it's pretty much just a matter of time.
