blimey ! - Napalm, by snorky on Jul 17, 2007 16:20:27 GMT 1, pardon, but I have just been prickishly reminded that the print i refered to above is actually Flag not Flags.
I hang my head in shame.
I just hope that the pedant who mailed me about my heinous error was also good enought to mail the inital poster regarding the propa name for " napalm"
I must apologise, but know that is not enough.
feel free to neg me to death. I deserve it.

None available, the one which had a BIN £1,350 or best offer was pulled.
EDIT - probably got offered around £100 more than the CND went for ;D so settled on an off ebay sale ;D

Hahaha! I can see your annoyance, but personally (or rather, weirdly), I do tend to get a bit bugged when people call it "Flags" (because there's only one flag in the picture!), or spell Napalm as "Nepalm". ;D I never make it a point to correct them though (unless I know them personally)
Just like when people type "your" when they mean "you're" (and vice-versa). I know I know, I'm weird!
(No, it wasn't me that sent you that pedantic email)

Hey hey hey, it's legitimate spelling in American English!! As in "Meter" vs. "Metre" "Metre" or "Centre" makes no phonetic sense whatsosever anyway, don'cha think?
And you say "Toe-mah-toes", I say "Toe-may-toes"! (We're not gonna break out into song, are we?)

blimey ! - Napalm, by corblimeylimey on Jul 17, 2007 20:31:45 GMT 1, Sorry AB, I was re phrasing my post as you were replying.
You've spent too long on English sites! When I went to the States everyone seemed very confused when I said lorry.
I have heard that most Americans don't know where the United Kingdom is.

I'm not American I just live here!
As for most Americans not knowing where the UK is, most Americans can't even point out where Arkansas is on the map, don't know how many stars and stripes there are on the flag, and vote for idiots to be president!
(But I still love this country - honest! Ah well, perhaps just the blue states ;D)
