Possible heads up on Ebay FF Item number: 14007170, by sanchorockin78 on Jan 16, 2007 10:55:43 GMT 1, Hey all,
Just a possible warning to anyone..i made a bid on the above Micaleff on ebay and have since received rather dodgy emails saying it is a second chance item and i can have it for £350!!..according to the listing the item has already been won for £801..I am sure no one on this forum would be stupid enough not to investigate further, especially for such a low price for a FF but just a heads up on these scamers for ya.

Possible heads up on Ebay FF Item number: 14007170, by snorky on Jan 16, 2007 11:55:16 GMT 1, I get them about once aday on Banksy Ive been bidding on - play the feckers along for a few days - get them to do all the work in producing fake invoices etc and ask for a DHL carrier recipt/ booking, then giove them a fake Western union despatch number for the money - they will want the cash sent to Romaina usually - you can have hours of fun fecking them up and every minute they spend chasing their tails in response to your fake details etc, they will not be doing it to someone else

not sure how they get your email address' now that your bidding id's are hidden

Possible heads up on Ebay FF Item number: 14007170, by snorky on Jan 16, 2007 14:54:02 GMT 1, 1) They ask a question for soemthing you may be selling and the vast majority of answers dont tick the " hide my email address" box when replying
they are focusiong on bankys at the minute
2) *Hypothetically * it MAY BE that SOME " sellers" who pull items before they finish *MAY* well be harvesting the information that only they can see as sellers.*possibly*, Maybe ..
I trust everyone gets my meaning here and knows what I am trying to say .
you heard it here first folks

Possible heads up on Ebay FF Item number: 14007170, by dotdot on Jan 16, 2007 20:25:39 GMT 1, I was pipped at the post on this one ! thanks for the heads up. I've not seen scammers on this one - but did have them on something else i bid on... i knew the print was was gone as I've spoken to that seller since.
ignore all second chancers - especially if thier email address includes hotmail.
..watch out people !
