My FC is in the framers now (going to visit it this morning) and every time I see something framed I change my mind. Its currently being box framed and floating, with the mount cut out around it. Pictures will follow soon - if plans dont change!

First there's the frame, obviously, then a cut-out mount with a white edge(don't know the correct words for all this), and then it's just the print floating on another black mount. The inner dark black bit is part of the print.

Pianos from the 20's-30's (?) were all black with some simple gold trimmings. I wanted that look. I didn't want a piano on my wall.
