Thanks chaps. Confirmation of a spike in price is what I was looking for. Pretty much ends my interest in it for the time being, but at least there may be some hope of it returning to previous levels at a later date.

Was pretty shocked to see the price it had reached this morning, thought it might go into the £200's after the one that sold a couple of weeks ago, but never imagined it would reach that sort of level...

To be honest, despite it being a lower edition I never liked it nearly as much as 'Exciting' or 'Scary' and don't think the print quality is as good either. It will be interesting to see if the other prints reach those sort of prices now.

Still, got a big purchase lined-up so good timing for me

Un-related, in terms of EINE, but I was shocked by a Dolk GWT selling at £520 on ebay last week! Sold mine to a forum member not too long ago for less than half that! There's definately an increase in print sale pricing going on! Great news for those selling! Nice one connecta1!

I'd say just a steady build up in pressure underneath Eine... plus the SF show.

Perhaps people are looking at 'lists' of popular Urban Artists, seeing Eine (amongst others) up there just below Banksy and have been priced out of the Banksy market so move over to Eine?

Just a theory.

They weren't sold for charity and that makes it even crazier because they didn't differ from the regular editions which are still available at cost.

I noticed that Smiley too, and I like it. Want to bid but thought price a bit high for me.

I'm skeptical as the seller has 0 Feedback as a Seller and wrote no information about piece.

So I contacted him and he said Ben Eine is his brother! who gave him the print. His name is Matt, has the original POW tube it came in.

Can anybody vouch? Any comments? Interesting back story.

Any of you know Ben Eine, or more specifically, his brother Matt?
