AP? un sanctioned? it seems like this should be a problem.. the edition should be the total number in circulation so if they can pop up outside the edition that is not really a very good thing in my eyes.

It's outside of the edition because it's unique and a unique print is not editioned!

Exactly, not sure what the issue is here. The main point is the fact that this comes with PC COA, therefore it is a recognised and authenticated Banksy signed LIITA.
I can't remember off hand, but I think the Opus mail also stated this was originally a gift print to someone, they obviously obtained the PC COA and have it to pass on.
The fact it's outside the edition and a unique signed gift print may appeal to some, may not to others...But the fact remains this is not back door if it comes authenticated from Pest Control.

Banksys first commercial and most iconic screen print "Love is in the Air" this has belonged to me from new, and is framed in a black Nielsen frame, only selling to try and get a property deposit together...
This print is stamped Banksy & is unsigned, and is numbered 0ne hundred and a bit...
Open to offers, but the average selling price for the last 3 eBay sales is £2,200 so don't take the piss....

Everyone making offers will want the COA no doubt, which isn't always the fastest of requests... especially for these early prints as the records of sales are all over the place.
I'm sure yours will check out and will be sold subject to the COA in no time at all.

It seems odd now that all those early prints went into comic shops, book stores, galleries and the like... You may live to regret it but if it helps you get what you need now that's fair enough.
I was forced to sell one of my 2003 unsigned prints in about 2007 as we'd bought our first home.
No regrets... as I married a good one... It also helps that she has more Banksy prints than me!

i've received plenty of offers that i'd be happy to accept, as i mentioned i'm waiting on Pest Control COA, once i have that i will update this thread and take better quality photos of the print out of the frame for you all to inspect, then i will get into arranging viewing, payment, delivery/collection etc with whoever is still interested in the print.
In answer to a few questions:
The frame is a Nielsen Purchased from the Richard Goodall Gallery in Manchester, not sure if the glass is conservation, but i would suspect not.
The print & I are located in Central Manchester, collecting & viewing will be definitely possible.
The print has in no way become stuck to the glass, i removed it to inspect it, as stated i will take hi-res photos of the print out of the frame for your inspection.

Why is it a problem if a print touches the glass? I would have thought that as long as the print doesn't get damp and stick to the glass there shouldn't be an issue.
I only ask because I've got a print that has been pressed against the glass for years and it looked fine when I removed it a few months ago.

Unless you live in a house with constant temp and zero humidity levels condensation will occur in the frame.Mats and spacers were created to counteract this by creating a gap for moisture to evaporate and in severe cases stop the art sticking to the glass
Not sure why yours was fine but a fair comparison would be to put yours against a mint one out of folder or suchlike
