As stated before did anyone see the Bonhams sale?? Can you seriously say that after this a signed LIITA is not worth £10000 plus?? It's better and more desirable than any other print sd at Bonhams IMO
Those that slate this price are unrealistic and only do this to try to undermine the market and bag a bargain, they know the real worth if something like this.

I can't see it being worth more than £7.5k personally, Banksy prices especially for prints are drawing back slowly.

The value of everything and the price of nothing. Auctions are intriguing. Bonhams big performance on prints. Bloomsbury auction sold an unsigned morons for £1500+commission this week, in a contemporary prints sale, amongst stuff like Dali, Caulfield, Chagall et al. I think perhaps that is your mark, if you're lucky enough to get your print into that type of sale. Did you value an unsigned morons at £1725?

Expresso beans average for this print is £912 for the last six months, market value is probably somewhere in between. So take a Banksy and put it all alone in a sale of around 400 lots and it will sell well. Therefore taking an older print, of which many are long gone, £10K looks reasonable, but steep, however there's a growing market of contemporary art buyers who want in and want quality iconic images that made banksy.

Whoever owns this should get it put into a contemporary sale and cross their fingers, they may just be pleasently surprised.

Buyers want it cheap, gallery's/owners want it expensive the truth is somewhere in between, with those with no axe to grind.

Was it Opus who posted it on here? Is artjunkie connected to Opus? If so he may have a small point. From what I have read on this forum in the past, James and his company have done alright out of here, publicity wise. And not just his company. But good luck to him.

If people want auction prices, they should sell via an auction. The difference between that and touting art via emails should be obvious.

No, Nothing to do with any gallery or artist.....have seen that others including myself have occasionally posted stuff that is available - especially some of the more iconic stuff and so thought i'd share. Apologies if sharing info openly on an open forum offends, I hope the most have appreciated it esp. those that have bagged a print from the drops that I have posted......

Ie . If 10k. Gbp is a good deal for signed .. Where should unsigned be now?

The gap between signed and unsigned isn't the same on all of his prints. You should get an unsigned LITA for £1700-£2000 imo.

depends on the print Dave for a while it was generally 3-4 times, but seems to range from 2-5. Age of print, edition size, condition, COA, history ( framed etc) all have impact on prices.

LIITA is an iconic Banksy image along with Laugh Now, Barcode and a number of the early images. It is hard to find one in good condition, I searched a long time for my unsigned, it would be high on my list of prints I'd like to upgrade to signed if I could find one at the right price and in great condition
