I attended Barely Legal and don't recall any of these available. I'm pretty certain it was just the stencil.

few more from that edition of the white and off white canvases that i had photos of. Strange that all of them have the flowers in the same position as I've seen a couple that have them tilted the other way like the print too:

I don't believe any have ever come to auction. I can only recall ever seeing 2 of them (one Hessian and one tan) on the secondary market and both were at Andipa about 3 years ago. From memory, the ask back then was ~ 100k GBP.

Unfortunately, artnet becomes stale as those posts could be years old but few galleries remove past inventory from that site. Those canvases also look to be one and the same and I believe it was sold at Andipa's pre Bristol museum non sanctioned Banksy show. I could well be mistaken but that was the one I was referring to above. They put thier own catalog of secondary works together and had both flower chuckers in there.

Mike at BRP definitely had one on his site a few weeks ago....not sure if still available now.

For me though, this image on these bare hessian canvasses are probably the piece de resistance of the early Banksy images. Far superior image to the LIITA print....IMO.

I know but that doesn't bother me, I knew it would not be taken by most as a legit run but I don't care, I just wanted the image. There are quite a few prints out there that are not from official runs but that would not stop me buying them, the lack of cash does however.

DO many on here own original canvas? bloody great images on here .. love seeing the old stuff, the Hessian canvas are brilliant , and agree image works so much better on this rather than the red back ground , the prints look a bit garish compared to these now, of course id still like one
