Well unless its acid free card etc, dont expect the works to last long term.. id guess in 50 years most would have faded or fallen apart

Worth a read here, Tate mentions all works on paper degrade even with the level of framing they use.So much so works will only be on display 2 out every 4 years
Some might say they are a bit anal about it all, I personally look at the time,knowledge and money invested into the research, which leads me to think they are at the cutting edge

I know that they (Tate) obviously have to preserve work for at lot longer than a normal collector would, but it would be great if some of that technology becomes cheap enough for a normal punter to use
