Hi all, new member here, first post. Hope this is in the right place, if not someone'll set me straight.

Thanks to all you guys and gals for the great info on this site, been lurking last couple months educating myself. Real helpful.

Love lots of Banksy's stuff, putting money aside, can barely afford one unsigned at the moment, from a short list.

Looking at a Love is in the Air, seller sent me closeups of the face and flowers; the edges look like stencil grafitti overspray, lots of tiny black spots where face comes out of the mask, along lead shoulder, around flower petals, etc...makes sense from a stencil spray artist, looks great, alive. Edges definitely not hard.

So just want to know from any of you who have seen this killer print closeup, in the flesh, is that correct? Is that how they look?

Sellers seem genuine and decent, red cbanksy old school typewriter tag looks good.

I'm living in Japan right now so not much chance to see an actual print face-to-face.

yeah thats right i have this print on my wall and it does look sprayed if you look at the fill in around the legs/torso it looks just like someone has filled in with some spray imo one of his best prints

agreed, one of his or anyone's best works, getting pricey $$$ though.

re: provenance. Bought in Bristol, seller has "an email from Dora at POW confirming the name of where this print is registered." I hear this phrase a lot with banksy prints, assume seller is 2nd owner, and this email makes it all kosher.

would you contact POW to cross reference edition number to their data bank before completing sale?

I think it looks great, but there is little you can tell from a pic besides it being beautiful. In regards to prov, all of the above. I would also get it taken into POW if at all possible to get authenticated.

1. Email POW with the sellers address and name and print number (Do they match?) The more prov the better!
2. Collect if at all possible yourself so that you can look it over.
3. Frame in your flat/house and enjoy it

POW`s repsonse time maybe longer than the auction for a print so verification that way does not always work, viewing the print in person is always best but not always an option otherwise feedback and recent sales and purchases are normally a good indicaiton if the seller is honest, print size and numbering is a good verification along with paper type, if you are unsure ask the seller for a photo of the hand, flowers ( a non listed pic ) to prove he has the print if nothing else

Hey everyone... I have my LIITA listed on Auction Saboteur, but I wanted to post here as well incase anyone missed it and is looking for one. The print is unsigned, 9/10 condition only because there are marks on the back of the print from framing (no blutak or anything like that). Only selling as I picked up a signed version. Asking £2500 ONO.





A couple messages asking about the marks on the back so I'll update here: You can see VERY faint rubbing marks where the print brushed against the black mat it was floated on. There are also two small pieces left from the Japanese Hinges that held the print to the mat... they will easily come off with a dab of water (as designed) but I haven't done it since I had this removed from the frame and my signed put in and I'd rather have a pro do it when its being framed again. If you message me an email address I can email photos I just took.

A couple people asked about my location... I am in the US. I know thats an issue with some buyers, but I have sold a hand full of prints to buyers in the UK in the past and never had a damage issue or tax issue. I send hem 2 day service with FedEx, tracking number, fully insured, and marked as a return on customs so the VAT has never been an issue. I will send this flat, wrapped in tissue, sandwitched between MDF, then wrapped in packing paper so it will get to you safe and sound.
