The question of NOLA valuation seems to come up pretty frequently here.

One listed on ebay at £7,500 just went unsold, but there were 10 unaccepted offers and thought it was interesting to see where the current interest levels are.

Of note, LOWEST offer was £3,500, looks like at least two people were interested at £4,500-4,900.

Assuming there were a few multiple bidders and that lowest offers are generally low-ballers, could argue fair market value right now is in the £4,500+ range?

I would say £4 - 4.5k but its a guess, there is one coming up at the auction on 6th April so that may give an indication but you can never tell how sober the buyer is!!!
Can't understand why he didnt take the £4.9k, if it was a legit bid of course!

Could these higher bids in fact be offers made back to those who made bids by the seller?

nope. why would there be counter-offers listed that are lower than later bids that are not accepted?

I'd say either way this proves bugger all about the value of nola, as it didnt sell at this price for one, and secondly another seller might well have taken any of those offers. You cant judge the price of something by what one person does or doesnt want to pay/accept for it. Personally i'd have said 3k was about right for the white version, if i had one 3.5k would have been accepted straight away (by me), so does that mean the value is now 3.5k? no, it just means i value it at less than this guy did.

I agree with your logic if you have one to sell. Do you?
The market price should be the range between the lowest price someone is selling one for and the highest price someone is willing to pay.

If you are not the cheapest seller or the highest bidder your valuation isn't worth much.

Especially if you are just trying to talk up or down the price.

I dont have one to sell, although i do have a grey version on my wall which isnt for sale. I have no interest in talking prices up or down, just my opinion.
