I got the feeling this isn't the place to sell Banksy's anymore after the last couple of weeks. Best case would be auction price - premium (35%)?? Or is this still a place where you can get full price without paying an auction house on top?

Fuck me. Imagine 3 people seeing a print they own sell for £35-£45k and saying 'hey if anyone wants to pay that for mine I'm all ears...' The absolute audacity of it.

Interesting that Flags seems to be getting the brunt of the attention. 2 or 3 other prints flew off the shelves the day after the auction for prices between what the buyer paid and the seller got at the same auction. People seemed happy to accept that but started writing complaints to Watchdog in floods of tears when the same pricing for Flags was put forward.

Maybe it was just a flukey (or manipulated) one off - I personally don't think the Christies copy tomorrow will do nearly as well (partly due to it's condition) but at least that will give us a better idea of current value I guess?
