Outside of an auction house this doesn’t seem likely. And auction house is owed fees. 30k unsigned is not correct

I guess it’s down to supply & demand. I don’t own a Barcode - it was one that I wanted but I couldn’t find one for sale. They don’t seem to come up that often. If it was valued at up to £22k back in January then, looking at what has happened to the market since, I’d say if someone really wanted a Barcode they’d pay £30k.

This is the stamp from the one which I owned from release and which, sadly, I sold a couple of years back and it was quite a bit more vibrantly red than that.

I’d imagine this is more to do with how much ink was on the stamp when it was applied. The red stamp on my Rude Copper is really faint but has been that way since it was bought.

That seems like a totally reasonable explanation for it too now you mention it. Just luck of the draw with these stamps then really? I’d never really thought about it/examined it until seeing the close up of the stamp in this thread but appreciate you highlighting your experiences and alternative reasons for it. Thanks sir!

This is one Ive been after a while. I obviously think its worth a good deal more than the 15k£ from seven months ago but not the 30k£ unless one is willing to wait months for someone willing to pay absolute top dollar. Even then Im not sure. I've seen these sell for between $18000 USD and $32000 USD over the past 4-5 months. I do think the lighter stamp probably hurts the upper top end of the range a little. I think someone willing to set a new high or the very top is going to wait for one that's darker and crisper.

All said, is the 30kGBP negotiable to a more in line price with where these have sold before? Id be more in the 20-22k GBP which I doubt gets it done but Ill say to see.
